Day 35 Rossford to Oberlin

Dale and Wendy Join the Party

The day was billed as a long, flat one on mostly bike path. It did not disappoint and included ten miles of gravel riding at the end. I fell back early as I was in a photo taking mood. I did catch up at the end as I did enjoy the gravel finish. We passed many “oddities” including Halloween decorations. Some of these are very eloborate. Its kind of like getting the Christmas decorations out before Thanksgiving as it isn’t even October yet. Nevertheless they are fun to see.

Friend Dale and his lovely wife Wendy joined us at dinner tonight. We haven’t spoken in person since the summer of 2019 and I was very glad to see them. He will be joining us for a ride through his beloved Northwest Ohio tomorrow and promises to add some interest, miles and elevation to our scheduled route. Oh Oh.
